Palau in the 20th Century

This resource collects digital multimedia and documents on the Republic of Palau in the 20th century. The particular foci of the archive will be Palau in the Trust Territory era (1947-1994) and a subset of the era, the Palau-US Compact of Free Association, including the negotiation, plebiscites, and eventual formal approval thereof in 1986. There will also be some information on Palauan culture, World War II, the Japanese colonial period, and the German colonial period.
